Stint ("Stint", "we", "us") operates stinthoops.com. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Stint is an independent statistics and analysis site. It reconstructs games from the official scorer's reports the leagues publish, and presents charts, tables and derived statistics built from them.
Stint is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to the National Basketball Association, the Women's National Basketball Association, the NBA G League, NBA Summer League, or any of their teams. All team names, league names and logos referred to on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the games being described.
We take accuracy seriously. Games are cross-checked against the official box score, and games whose reconstruction does not reconcile are held out of the advanced statistics rather than published with numbers we cannot stand behind. The data-quality reporting on this site is deliberately public.
Even so, the site is provided as is. Source documents contain errors, formats change without notice, and derived statistics involve judgement calls that reasonable people make differently. We do not warrant that anything on the site is complete, current or error-free, and you should not treat it as an official record. The leagues' own published statistics are the official ones.
Nothing on Stint is gambling advice, investment advice, or professional advice of any kind. If you make wagering or financial decisions, you make them on your own judgement and at your own risk. We are not responsible for any loss arising from them.

The underlying facts of a basketball game belong to nobody. The compilation, reconstruction, presentation, charts, code and written material on this site are ours, and are protected as such.
Access is currently open while the archive is built out. We intend to introduce paid subscriptions, and when we do the terms covering payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds will be published here before they take effect. A paid seat, when it exists, will be for one named person and not for sharing across an organisation.
Voluntary contributions made through the "Buy me a coffee" link are gifts in support of the project. They are not purchases, they buy no additional access, and they are not refundable.
This is a small independent project. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and we may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stint is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the site. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
