Stint

The short version

Stint has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking cookies. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share personal information, because we do not collect it. What follows describes exactly what does happen.

What we do not do

• No selling, renting or sharing of personal information.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, it records ordinary request information — IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string — for the purposes of delivering the site, keeping it available and defending it against abuse. We do not use those logs to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine them with anything else. Cloudflare's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy.

Preferences stored in your browser

The site remembers a few interface choices — which league tab you last looked at, and which view of the player table you prefer — using your browser's local storage. This is not a cookie, it never leaves your device, and it is never sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Third parties the site touches

• Google Fonts. Pages load one typeface from Google's font servers, which means your browser makes a request to Google and Google receives your IP address as part of it. We send nothing else.
• Buy Me a Coffee. The support button is an ordinary link. Nothing is embedded, and nothing is shared with them unless you follow the link and choose to contribute, at which point their privacy policy and their payment processing apply, not ours. We never see your payment details.

If you email us

If you write to info@stinthoops.com we keep the message so we can reply and, where it is useful, so we can act on what you told us about the data. We do not add you to any mailing list from it.

Children

Stint is a general-audience statistics site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information a site holds about you. In our case there is generally nothing to act on, because we hold no account, no profile and no contact details unless you have emailed us. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it.

When this will change

We intend to introduce accounts and paid subscriptions. Doing so will mean handling an email address, some sign-in information and payment records held by a payment processor. This policy will be updated to describe that before any of it launches, not afterwards.
